This year, from January 17 to 26, 2025, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, the Montreal Auto Show, presented by iA Financial Group, celebrates a very special event: its 80th anniversary! Since its inception, the show has evolved to become one of the most important automotive events in North America. With over thirty (30) confirmed brands and the presence of twelve new models from Luc Poirier's prestigious Ferrari collection, the Montreal Auto Show is more than ever a must-attend event for automotive enthusiasts and cutting-edge technology.
Major New Releases and Debuts at the Montreal Auto Show
The largest automotive event in Quebec is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of several iconic brands that have been absent for a few years. Among them, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Volvo, and the Stellantis Group, which includes Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, are making a strong comeback. Additionally, the Auto Show will welcome for the very first time Lucid Motors and Polestar, two manufacturers dedicated to electric vehicle innovation.
Other major names will also return, including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Genesis, GMC, Hyundai, Infiniti, KIA, Lamborghini, Lincoln, Lexus, Lotus, McLaren, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Shelby Canada, Toyota, and Volkswagen, each offering an exceptional showcase of their latest advancements. Additionally Featured at the 80th Montreal Auto Show
EV Test Drives: in collaboration with CAA-Quebec and Power Q, the SIAM will once again offer visitors the opportunity to take test drives of vehicles. The list of available vehicles is displayed at salonautomontreal.com, and drivers over 25 who wish to experience it can register for free upon arrival.
Meet and greetEnthusiast Meetings: come meet Karine Vanasse, Luc Poirier, Marc Dupré, Mariloup Wolfe, and Valérie Limoges.
The Quebec Tesla Club: The Quebec Tesla Club is a non-profit organization created for Tesla owners and enthusiasts in Quebec. The club focuses on several areas of interest, always aiming to advance the electrification of transportation and raise awareness of electric cars. Club members will be present on-site with a selection of some of the most popular models. Six models will be visible at the show: S PLAID, X PLAID, 3, Y, Cybertruck, and Cybertruck.
On October 24, 2024,The Montréal Auto Show announced the unveiling of its new identity, which features a completely redesigned logo, an innovative approach, and a vision for the future. The new visual identity has been designed to meet the demands of modern digital formats and celebrates the industry's constant evolution. The new tagline symbolizes a wheal and a road, and an evolution: “We only exist when we move forward”.
The show also presents some ruff terrain and recreational vehicles.
Twelve new electrical car models have been also unveiled to the press and the general public.
