CHFA 2017 - Quebec

Canadian Health Food Association 2017: Montreal
Trade Show and Conference

February 10 - 11, 2017

The CHFA (Canadian Health Food Association) is Canada’s largest trade association dedicated to natural health and organic products. It is the voice of the Canada’s Health Industry. More than 130 exhibiting companies are participating in this year’s Montreal Show at Palais des congres.

CHFA  was formed in 1964 from a grassroots community of health food pioneers. Presently, it represents over 1,000 member businesses across Canada. Its members include manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and importers of natural and organic products, among them foods, vitamin and mineral supplements, herbal products, homeopathics, sports nutrition, health, beauty aids, and much more.

The CHFA’s vision is Canada in which everyone benefits from organic and natural health products. Presently, the organic food product industry contributes $4 billion to the Canadian economy, and the natural health product industry contributes additional $3 billion.

The Show features a multitude of interesting products that all merit attention. I especially appreciated the delicious raw vegan cakes and spreads by a Montreal's Rawesome company.

Another product that caught my attention was Bulletproof Coffee. The company markets organic coffee that is especially pure and molds free. It has also invented an interesting new way to drink their coffee with speciality oils. The result is truly delicious and very healthy.

Moringa is another product that is coming into focus in the health and beauty industry. It is not yet widely known, but this is going to change soon. The following NIA Pure Nature Moringa was the greenest and finest at the Show.

The Canadians can look forward to many new developments in the natural food and health field as the CHFA Show clearly demonstrates.

And last but not least, the amazing products by the Nova Scotia Fisherman sea weed based body care products, and the healthy foods and supplements by the Barlean's Company.
