EUREKA California Wine 2024

EUREKA! Discovering California Wines

Montreal Industry

April 25, 2024

The EURECA California Wine Tasting event was quite impressive. It was held on Le Grand Quai at the Old Port in the historical Old Montreal, offering an imposing view of the St Laurence river flowing by. A great number of the California wine producers participated in this event, each presenting a number of different types of wines and vintages, a truly impressive selection of wines to taste and to discover by the Quebec wine professionals.

It was quite physically impossible to taste  all the excellent wines offered by the different California vineyards presented at the show. All the wine displays were attractive, and the wine regional differences interesting to experience.

The California organic wine was also represented at the show. The Bonterra Organic Estate had avery spacious and attractive kiosk that offered healthy and special wines to amuse and delight one's taste buds. It was a real pleasure to try their wines.

Food was also generousely offered at the show to all the attendants with specialty cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, nuts and other delights. The food table was very much appreciated by all the attendees and became even a gathering place to reconnect with others and to exchange their wine tasting experiences.

It was a well organized show that united many wine professionals and offered them new experiences and opportunities to establish new contacts and to find new business partners.

Oregon & Washington Wine 2024

OREGON & WASHINGTON WINE 2024

April 10, 2024

This Montreal wine tasting event was held this year at Fabrik8, located east of Jean-Tallon Metro Station. It was was a celebration of specialty wines that featured a great number of producers from the USA Oregon and Washington western states. The event was also attended by the USA Consul General Robert P. Sanders.

It was a unique chance to discover a great number of specialty wines from the two US west regions and also a  perfect opportunity to learn about many dynamic wine regions in those two states and their unique vintages. Many wines were aged and/or produces in limited quantities.

Not only did the event present a unique learning experience as well as the introductions to new wines, it was also a great professional meeting gathering for business contacts and deals to be made, as well as maybe even some long-lasting friendships.

Food was also generously provided and very much appreciated.
The event was a great success.
