Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert 2023

Montreal: 26th Edition

March 17 - 19, 2023

After three years in a virtual online format, the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert is back at the Center des congrès de Québec on March 4 and 5 (23rd edition) and at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on March 17-18 and March 19 (26th edition).

More than 25,000 enthusiasts of healthy food, ecology and global health will delight their senses by taking part in this special "health and flavor" event. On the menu: nearly 300 exhibitors will be on hand to present their new products, while an impressive line-up of personalities, including Isabelle Huot, Stefano Faita, Caroline Huard (Loounie) and K pour Katrine will present culinary demos and conferences on on a number of current topics. Tofu lover and tongue-in-cheek Jean-Philippe Cyr, one of the Expo's headliners for the past few years, will host a friendly duel over vegan poutine that will leave no one hungry.

“The Expo recipe has remained the same while evolving in step with trends for more than 25 years, since we bring together in one place the best resources in food, health and the environment. Year after year, visitors and exhibitors happily assemble for a feast of discoveries and encounters” reveals the president and founder of the event, Renée Frappier.

2023: The flavors of the day

Again this year, the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert is full of gourmet tastings, with a multitude of amazing products to discover: smoked meat-style smoked tofu, legume-based cheesecakes, chopped tempeh, cashew and chocolate spread, sour candies made from dried fruit, Cheeto-style beanies made with mung beans and upcycled carrots, seaweed caviar, seaweed and vegetable tapenade, oat milk chocolate bars, organic sparkling maple water, organic banana-based frozen desserts and hemp seeds, organic Quebec roasted lupins in three flavors, coffee alternatives made with roasted cranberries and more.

By meeting exhibitors, visitors learn about the quality and origin of the products they consume, in addition to collecting valuable tips and tricks for a healthier lifestyle.

Due to the post-pandemic context, food security and autonomy, as well as the importance of more plant-based produce and local purchasing have become a necessity. Eco-gastronomy and eco-attitude, these friendly and ethical trends, are also making a comeback this year. “During confinement, the population took a close interest in cooking at home, in seeking local foods, even going so far as to learn gardening, underlines Renée Frapper. Skills and curiosity develop and it is good for our health and for the environment. By being informed of the real challenges of our eating habits and our way of life, we are better equipped to take charge of our health. added the founder.
