The Montreal National Home Show 2019
40th Edition
March 8 - 17, 2019
To celebrate it's 40th edition, the Montreal's Home Show is offering this year a FREE ENTRY for the entire 10-day show's duration to all visitors born in 1979 (40 years ago), upon presentation of a valid id at the Place Bonaventure's ticket counter.
The Home Show is presented by RE/MAX in partnership with RONA. It offers the widest choice for the completion of any renovation, landscaping and decoration projects.
Year after year, the Home Show presents the latest innovations available on the market. It will appeal to both home-owners and those who rent an apartment. This year will feature everything one needs to decorate a house or an apartment on a budget: to change the bedroom furniture, landscape the yard, or begin a major renovation project (roof, windows, balcony, etc.). The show will also help those who are planning to purchase home appliances.
A special attention is devoted to decorating patios, especially to the design of the patio furniture, as well as the colour, and the arrangement of various elements to achieve an attractive and cosy environment.
The Home Show also features kiosks with food and drinks where one can taste some Quebec specialities.
Every day of the show, there are also culinary presentations followed by a tasting.
There are also thematic presentations, for example on such subjects as how to decorate your home on a low budget, or how to create your own garden. The conference by Guillaume Pelland on sustainable, easy-maintenance edible
gardening was especially interesting. He is a recipient of the 2018 Sustainable Development award from la Financière
agricole du Québec for creating and growing ecologically edible perennial
gardens that are beutiful and extremely easy to maintain. On his site Paysage gourmand, fruits, vegetables, aromatic
herbs and edible flowers of all colours form tasty, durable and beautiful
designs to enjoy!
