Celebrating 100 Years of CPMA

April 8-10, 2025

The 2025 Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s Convention and Trade Show (CPMA Fresh Week 2025) took place April at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Since 1925, the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) has strived for progress and growth while developing a sense of community through active involvement of its members. As CPMA marks its 100th anniversary, their goal is to continue this journey towards sustainable success now and in the future as the solution environment for the produce industry.

This year's Show was a remarkable success. Absolutely all exhibition spaces available were rented by a great number of the growers and various companies and individual producers of a great variety of the fresh and organic produce. This was not only a visual delight of colours and foods on display, but also a unique opportunity to meet various producers, ask about their products, and even taste them.

This show was a tremendous success that emphasized the great importance of our communal food availability security as well as its' high quality. Especially the organic producers were quite well represented at the show which might lead to the further widening of the organic produce general mass availability in the future.

CPMA members include major growers, shippers, packers, importers, exporters, transporters, brokers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, food processors, distributors, and other food service operators who integrate all segments of the fresh produce industry. It represents international and Canadian members responsible for 90% of the fresh fruit and vegetable sales in Canada. It is funded by the industry through voluntary membership and various services, activities, and sponsorship programs.

The Show was also a very important place where the professionals could meet, discuss their business and marketing strategies. This strengthens the growers community tights and supports and ensures the common success.

The Mexican Pavilion also provided the musical entertainment that provided a welcoming entertainment pause for the attendees of the Show.
