Place Ville Marie Public Market

June 9 - 15 September, 2016

This year, for the second time, Place Ville Marie is hosting a Public Market right at its Esplanade. Fresh local produce as well as some speciality products are offered to the public. In addition, the program includes weekly yoga breaks at the public market, as well as various cooking and gardening workshops, demonstrations and presentations. Not to be missed by anyone who enjoys yoga, gourmet cuisine, or simply getting outside for a breath of fresh air in downtown at lunchtime.


The market will be open once per week, every Thursday (15 Thursdays in all).
Opening hours: 11:30 - 14:30.


Additional activities are also offered to the public:

WORKSHOPs (Reservation required)

Nine Thursdays at lunchtime, between 20 and 45 minutes per workshop, in groups of 12 pre-registered people (the conference will be held in French). Cost of $5/person to register for each workshop (includes ingredients, materials, participating in the activity, making the final product, recipe cards, etc.)

  • July 28 - Composition de vinaigrettes
